First off, this body of work is probably the first series I am really proud of and happy about doing.  These self-portraits are focused on exploring parts of myself that I am ashamed of, that I hide, am proud of, sexuality, and overall identity.  They are very personal and when I created these images I was going through a difficult time and used photography as my outlet of expression.  I plan on continuing to shoot more self-portraits over the next couple of months, so there should be a post somewhat soon of images that continue along these lines of exploration.
